Our reproductive journey starts before we are born, as genetic material nestled within our lineage. We all share microscopic beginnings, shaped in part by the lives of those who birthed and parented before us.
Biology, psychology, societal structures – intersecting forces carry us along a journey that is impossible to control 100% of the time. Care providers, unique health histories, systemic obstacles, individual expectations – all of these can shape, encourage, or hinder our process of family-making.
This can be overwhelming, which is why I’m here to remind you: You do have options and you can tap in to getting informed, gathering a supportive team, and optimizing your health.

Comprehensive Care from Conception through Postpartum
My doula service ALWAYS includes….
- At least FIVE prenatal visits – I prefer more, time permitting.
- Private, honest, in-depth education.
- Assistance navigating birth location and care options, including discussion of risks, benefits, and cultural/historical context when helpful.
- Emotional and educational support around common questions, fears and challenges.
- Ongoing phone, e-mail and text support.
- Assistance cultivating your Birth Vision, Plan and Preferences with effective Advocacy skills
- On-call 24/7 availability during the days leading up to and including labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.
- Multiple visits in the first postpartum months.
- Backup doula support.
- Referrals to specialists relevant to your needs and desire.
Dedicated support…
- Your feeling supported, informed and at ease with me are priorities. I offer more than 3x the standard for prenatal and postpartum sessions.
- Due to the extensive nature of my birth doula service, I take a limited number of clients. This approach has allowed me to attend all of my clients, never missing a birth because of overlapping due dates.
- Our time together includes your birth team, so your immediate support people (partner, parent, best friend, etc.) are part of the process and learning alongside you.
- We’ll schedule our sessions ahead of time so you know what to expect, when.

Too busy for class series offered by your care provider? Feeling shy, or just wanting to avoid a crowd?
This is an opportunity to learn directly from a certified childbirth educator in sessions customized to fit your unique experience, questions and needs.
Class is for birthing person, primary support person, and one guest support person. Series or intensives arranged to fit your schedule. Virtual options available.
